Adooy Hassan Ahmed, 70 years old wodow, came from Gelef (Kokani Division), lower Juba area. She arrived in Dhobley in September 2011 with 8 kids by her sons and daughter and she is also taking care of her daughter who lost her husband. Adooy is suffering from several sicknesses and she canÕt get any medical assistance. At her age she canÕt work and itÕs very difficult to maintain the large family. She used to have some 25 camels and 40 goats but they died as the result of the drought and war. She remains now with 8 goats as a livehood.
At the moment she is comfortable remaining in Dhobley and relying on some help from local community and humanitarian relief. If peace and stability were there she would go back to her home.
